BELA FLECK AND THE MARCUS ROBERTS TRIO – “ACROSS THE
IMAGINARY DIVIDE” (Banjo player in a straight-ahead quartet session).
BRUCE FORMAN TRIO – “FORMANISM” (Guitarist, doing a straight-ahead
collection of mostly originals, with a couple of standards).
CURTIS FULLER – “DOWN HOME” (Trombonist, leading a sextet, in a straight ahead
collection of mostly originals).
VITALY GOLOVNEV QUINTET – “WHAT MATTERS” (Trumpeter, leading a
pianoless quartet in a collection of mostly of band originals).
BRANFORD MARSALIS – “FOUR MF’S PLAYIN’ TUNES” (Saxophonist, in an edgy
collection of mostly originals).
PEARL DJANGO – “ELEVEN” (Gypsy jazzers, with an eclectic mix of tunes, done old
style).
GREGORY PAGE & HIS BIG BAND ORCHESTRA – “SHINE, SHINE, SHINE”
(Local vocalist, with many local musicians, doing vintage-style original tunes).
DR. MICHAEL WHITE – “ADVENTURES IN NEW ORLEANS JAZZ, PART 2”
(Clarinetist, doing a very eclectic mix of tunes, New Orleans style).
