Lots of funky, original, heavy, large, previously unreleased, creative/progressive, exotic, energized, melodic, driving New Jazz Music being added to the Jazz 88 music library this week and we'll be debuting it all on The New Jazz Thing with Vince Outlaw, 6-8 PM PT, Monday, March 25, 2013. And there's even what's being dubbed the first Jazz cover of a Justin Bieber tune! Here's a bit from the new Jacky Terrasson disc "Gouache"...the full list is after the split...

with his modern jazz ensemble doing a mix of funky and straight-ahead originals.)

CECILIA COLEMAN BIG BAND – “WHO AM I?” (Percussionist, leading a big band
in all her originals, except for one standard).

THE KANDINSKY EFFECT – “SYNESTHESIA”- (Trans-Atlantic jazz power trio

electronic textures).

all original tunes composed by the pianist).

session by the pianist, with Ron Carter and Al Foster, doing originals and standards).

here, he presents all originals in a creative/progressive duet(s) setting).

CLAUDIO SCOLARI – “SYNTHESIS” – (Italian drummer with a collective date of
modern jazz tunes with emphasis on melodic textures and driving rhythmic patterns).

Thanks very much for adding my music to your playlist. But I am a pianist (not a percussionist)leading a big band in nyc and originally from long beach , CA. Always enjoyed playing in San Diego with Holly H. And I appreciate the support. Thanks. Cecilia Coleman.
