ANTONIO ADOLFO – “RIO, CHORO, JAZZ…” (Brazilian pianist, doing straight-ahead jazz with a Brazilian flavor).


CAROLINA CALVACHE – “SOTARENO” (Colombian pianist, backed by an all-star cast, performing her straight-ahead originals).


CARLOS FRANZETTI – “IN THE KEY OF TANGO” (Argentinian pianist, in a solo outing).


BILLY HART QUARTET – “ONE IS THE OTHER” (Straight-ahead grooves).


MIKE LONGO – “STEP ON IT” (Pianist, leading a trio, doing straight-ahead jazz tunes. Produced by local, Bob Magnusson).


GENE LUDWIG-PAT MARTINO TRIO – “YOUNG GUNS” (Previously unreleased live recording from 1968-69).


LESLIE PINTCHIK – “IN THE NATURE OF THINGS” (Pianist/composer, leading a sextet, doing mostly her originals).


WAYNE RIKER MOB – “GROOVIN’ WITH THE TOP BRASS” (Local guitarist, with local musicians, doing a mix of funky and straight-ahead grooves).


KENDRA SHANK / JOHN STOWELL – “NEW YORK CONVERSATIONS” (Vocalist and guitarist in a very edgy session).


LISA STAR / CHARLES DAVIS – “BARE ESSENTIALS” (Female vocalist, backed by a guitarist, with a nice mix of tunes).


VARIOUS ARTISTS – “JAZZ AND THE PHILHARMONIC” (Chick Corea, Bobby McFerrin, Terence Blanchard and others, performing a variety of tunes, from a TV concert recorded for PBS).


BRAD WHITELEY TRIO – “PATHLESS LAND” (Keyboardist, switching between piano and organ, doing mostly straight-ahead originals).
