It's that time of the year again where YOU get to help us with the Top Ten albums (CDs) for the year. We here at KSDS will talk to our peers and jazz hosts to pick our own selections and then combine them with your on-line votes. On New Year's eve morning, approximately 9am, we will tally it all together and play each CD in its entirety (starting with the 10 slot and working our way up to number 1). T Lombardo will be spinning the final few CDs and welcome us in to 2014 at midnight. In the meantime, have a great holiday season and keep it jazzy! Voting ends on December 12, so hurry up and vote!
Jazz Live turns into Blues Live on December 10 and that means T is another year older. For this 30 Year celebration we'll enjoy the James Harman Blues Band. And, dig this, preceding the concert (in the lobby) will be a mini-set from Quentin's Revenge featuring Leilani Kilgore. Jazz 88.3 Members can reserve tickets now at 619-388-3037. Go to Jazz Live page for more details. Print a parking permit now, too.

There's a bit of a bug that we are working on for the Internet Explorer Browser for the Jazz 88 site. You may notice that the drop down menus are not working properly. We need a little more time to work it all out but in the meantime you can help things move along a bit better by adjusting your settings. If you are on IE 10 please look at this diagram. Please find that item on your browser and click it. The browser should refresh and then the menu items should work as they are supposed to.
