Jazz Live will welcome back saxophonist Doug Webb as he and trumpeter Ron Stout will celebrate Gerry Mulligan's piano-less quartet. It all happens at the Saville Theatre stage on Tuesday, October 9 at 8pm. The famous pianoless quartet was conceived out of necessity and created one of the most important jazz groups of all time. The Pacific Jazz record company was formed to record the group and with that West Coast Jazz was born. Only current Jazz 88 members can attend this concert. Any questions about membership can be answered by the membership team or you can call Ken Borgers at 619-388-3301. As always, thanks to Big Front Door Sandwich Shop, located in University Heights (Park Blvd.) and now Solana Beach for providing food for the Jazz Live artists. If you are going remember that good ole' parking pass!
