FAREED HAQUE – “OUT OF NOWHERE” (Guitarist, leading a quartet that features Billy Hart and George Mraz, doing standards and originals).
LOSTON HARRIS – “SWINGFULLY YOURS” (Pianist/vocalist, leading a trio in straight-ahead standards).
FRANCOIS HOULE & HAVARD WIIK – “AVES” (Clarinet/piano duet, performing improvised originals).
JAZZ COMBUSTION UPRISING – “SELF-IMMOLATION” (San Francisco based ensemble, with a collection of straight-ahead originals. Dedicated to the Tunisian grocer, who’s self-immolation started the Arab Spring revolt).
RICHARD D. JOHNSON – “HERE I AM” (Pianist, leading a trio/quartet/quintet, with some vocal tracks, doing straight-ahead originals and standards).
DAN MURPHY – “UNDISCLOSED LOCATION” (Debut release by the pianist, doing straight-ahead originals, leading various ensembles).
IVO PERELMAN – “ENIGMA” & “A VIOLENT DOSE OF ANYTHING” (Brazilian saxophonist with quartet and trio releases, both very progressive).
ARIEL POCOCK – “TOUCHSTONE” (Vocalist/pianist, backed by an all-star group, with a great mix of straight-ahead tunes, mostly vocal, with 5 instrumentals).
“PROJECT THEM” (An all-star sextet, doing straight-ahead originals and standards).
IDAN SANTHAUS – “THERE YOU ARE” (Big band originals, written by various members of the 2 different ensembles).
