BILLY CHILDS – “MAP TO THE TREASURE”  (Sony Masterworks)
(Grammy-winning composer/pianist together with an all-star cast of singers and musicians reinvigorating the musical legacy of signer/songwriter, Laura Nyro).

FREDDY COLE – “SINGING THE BLUES”  (High Note)
(Singer/pianist backed by a quintet paying tribute to the people, places and performing spaces that shaped his life and career).  

“CHARLIE HADEN & JIM HALL”  (Impulse! /UMF ~ Blue Note distributed)
(Previously unreleased, this was the duo’s first concert-length recording held at the 1990 Montreal International Jazz Festival).

PETER HAND BIG BAND – “OUT OF HAND”  (Savant)
(Guitarist/arranger with an all-star band for a studio recording that includes a mix of standards and originals). 

DARREL KATZ & THE JCA ORCH. – “WHY DO YOU RIDE?”  (Leo Records)
(Boston-based composer/conductor leading his 20-piece Jazz Composers Alliance ensemble of avant-garde, third-stream compositions paired with some vocals). 

OLIVER LAKE ORGAN QUARTET – “WHAT I HEARD”  (Passin’ Thru)
(Saxophonist/flautist featuring all originals that has a classic organ sound with an open-ended approach to improvisation mixed in with heavy grooves and funk elements). 

MICHAEL O’NEILL & KENNY WASHINGTON– “NEW BEGINNINGS” (Jazzmo)
(Saxophonist and vocalist covering the Great American Songbook backed by a group that features Geoffrey Keezer on 8 of the 11 tracks). 

PETER MADSEN - “ELVIS NEVER LEFT THE BUILDING”  (Playscape)
(Pianist paying tribute to an idol during his youth by re-harmonizing ten Elvis staples alongside his trio of Australian-based Collective of Improvising Artists (CIA). 

BOBBY MATOS  - “RITMO & BLUES”  (Café con Bagels Music)
(Percussionist, composer/arranger with his Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble doing Charanga and Mambo Jazz arrangements with the addition of los ritmos to Doo Wop and classic Soul tunes).

MARIANNE SOLIVAN – “SPARK”  (Hipnotic)
(New-York-based vocalist presenting a diverse program of material that reflects a variety of moods, eras, and tempos).
