  • Pianist, leading an all-star session, performing straight-ahead originals and standards, with 4 vocal tracks by Karrin Allyson and Paulette McWilliams.

MAUREEN BUDWAY – “SWEET CANDOR” 

  • Female vocalist, with a nice straight-ahead mix of tunes.

  • Gypsy jazz swing, featuring, among others, Bob Magnusson playing bass.

EDDIE HENDERSON – “COLLECTIVE PORTRAIT”

  • Trumpeter, leading a quartet/quintet, doing straight-ahead jazz tunes.

ABDULLAH IBRAHIM – “THE SONG IS MY STORY”

  • Solo piano vignettes, with two solo sax tracks.

  • Local legend performing straight-ahead jazz tunes.

SAM MOST – “NEW JAZZ STANDARDS”

  • Late flutist and reed player, in his last recording, doing straight-ahead tunes by Carl Saunders.

DAWAN MUHAMMAD/BILLY HIGGINS SEXTET – “SMOKE SIGNAL”

  • Saxophonist/flutist, performing straight-ahead originals, standards and jazz tunes.

RAY OBIEDO – “THERE GOES THAT”

  • Guitarist, with a collection of contemporary Latin grooves.

ELLYNNE REY – “A LITTLE BIT OF MOONLIGHT”
