On The New Jazz Thing with Vince Outlaw, broadcast on air Tuesday, October 27, 2015, Midnight-2am, San Diego State University AnthropologistsDr. Seth Mallios and Jamie Lennox discuss the Jazz in "Let It Rock!", their new 5 volume set chronicling 50 years of live music performance at SDSU, being released in an on-campus, open-to-the-public event Thursday, October 29 3:30pm. The event includes the unveiling of the restored and reinstalled mural from the famous Backdoor club where many of the concerts took place. We also play music from the era and artists that performed at SDSU.
