- Daniel Gregerman, 2014 Jazz Educator of The Year! The Jazz Education Network (JEN) just announced the Niles North High School Choral Director as it's 2014 John LaPorta Jazz Educator of the Year award winner, ahead of their January 8-11, 2014, 5th Annual Conference in Dallas, Texas. Dan is the first vocal winner of the award and it's the first time the award has gone to a public school educator. He'll be joining us from the Chicago area near the end of Hour 1 of the show (6-7 PM PT).
