- Vincent Herring: Veteran saxophonists new disc "The Uptown Shuffle" was released last week and he kicks off a month in Europe next week with the Soul Jazz Alliance featuring Jeremy Pelt (who also has a new disc "Face Forward, Jeremy"). Vincent is a former Jazz Live San Diego Performer in 2006 with Cedar Walton (Vincent in white). Vincent will be with us in Hour 2 of the New (7-8PM PT).
- 2015 Jazz Education Conference Call For Performers and Presenters: Dr. Monika Herzig, Jazz pianist, educator, and Jazz Education Network Board Member will join us to announce the opening Call for Performers and Presenters for the January 7-10, 2015 Jazz Education Network Conference in San Diego. Tune in to find out how to get your band, Jazz education techniques, and research projects heard at the conference. We'll also hear a tune from Monika's 2011 release "Come With Me"! She will be joining us in Hour 1 (6-7PM PT).
