Jazz 88.3 is proud to support “ The International Academy of Jazz: San Diego.” Directed by brilliant trumpeter, Gilbert Castellanos, The International Academy of Jazz: San Diego” is a 501c 3 non-profit and San Diego’s ONLY full-academic year program for our young, aspiring musicians (ages 10-18). Robert Bush translates music into words as well as anyone in the business ever has. A recent health crisis fortunately broke in our favor. The local Jazz community is coming together to help with expenses and show support for one amongst us. The event is scheduled for Sunday, September 13th at Panama 66 in Balboa Park. A generous donation in lieu of admission fee seems to be the plan. Gilbert Castellanos has summoned Our Finest so tighten your wig and get with it. Start: 4pm.
