Since forming in 2014, The War and Treaty, 2022 Americana Music Awards’ Duo of the Year, have amassed a following as eclectic as their sound itself, a bluesy but joyful fusion of Southern soul, gospel, country, and rock-and-roll. La Jolla Music Society presents this Duo on Friday, October 28th at 7:30PM at the Baker-Baum Concert Hall. Here's a link for tickets and information.

KSDS apologizes about our stream being down for so long. The problem was on our end but we seem to have the situation handled. We are still tweaking it and will be looking now to get it fully secured moving foward. Thank you all for reaching out to let us know how much you missed it. KSDS apologizes about our stream malfunctioning as of late. The problem is on our end. We are currently waiting on the City College IT department to help us out with some of the networking configuration for getting our new hard drive installed so that is the stream won’t be interrupted moving forward. We are hopeful we can get it resolved as soon as possible. We are grateful for your understanding and patience.

Jazz 88.3 is so proud to partner with First Presbyterian Church again this year as they present Jazz in the Courtyard, a concert in the courtyard of First Presbyterian Church of San Diego (320 Date Street), featuring SAXOPALOOZA!

The San Diego Symphony presents a celebration of Harlem's Hey-Day! Trumpeter Byron Stripling presents, Uptown Nights- a Tribute to Harlem's Cotton Club and Savoy Ballroom at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, Saturday, July 9th (7:30PM). 

Water for People San Diego Committee along with Avista and KSDS Jazz 88.3 are proud to present Jazz on Tap 2022, a fundraising event to benefit Water For People, a global nonprofit promoting the development of high-quality drinking water and sanitation services. The jazz festival will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.

Hi gang, My name is Gordon Goodwin, host of Phat Tracks, and, believe it or not, I'm in a movie! It's called 'Knights of Swing.'

 Classics 4 Kids is presenting their award-winning music education programs for thousands of elementary students from throughout San Diego County to enjoy. “Journey Into Jazz” takes place on May 24-25, 2022, and will feature live music from the 17-member Classics Philharmonic Orchestra accompanied by six talented high school jazz artists from the Young Lions Jazz Conservatory. Performances take place for San Diego County elementary students at 9:45 AM and 11:30 AM on May 24th and 25th, 2022 at the Balboa Theatre in downtown San Diego. Tickets are available at classics4kids.org. All programs will be produced in a safe setting in accordance with Public Health regulations.

Francis Parker is hosting their 12th annual Summer Jazz Workshop. This program provides a unique opportunity for middle and high school-aged students to study with some of San Diego's most gifted professional jazz performers and educators.
