Mike Rovatsos

Production Director Mike Rovatsos plays and composes music on the guitar when not in the Jazz 88.3 studios.  His appreciation for the guitar is immense, playing in a lot of styles and utilizing all types of different guitars.  He is humbled and honored to take the show over from T and will do his best to fill those enormous shoes. From the golden thumb of Wes Montgomery, the classic style of Django Reinhardt, the progressive sounds of John Scofield and Pat Metheny to Barney Kessel and Peter Sprague, The Guitar Hour celebrates the instrument as both a rhythm and lead jazz voice.
