It’s been a tough week at America’s higher latitudes. But cheer up, Canada! — our frighteningly friendly and irrepressibly cheerful neighbors to the north have earned the Silver medal in the inaugural KSDS Olympiad.
Maybe that’s the spoonful of maple syrup that makes two devastating gold medal-game losses in both men’s and women’s hockey go down just a little bit easier….
But if not, if you’re melancholy in Montreal and cryin’ in Calgary, tune in all day TODAY (Wed., Feb. 25) and hang your tears out to dry with the likes of saxophonist Grant Stewart and your other favorite hosers…er…Canadian jazz musicians.
