Charles McPherson on 2015 NEA Jazz Master Designee George Coleman: Last week, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) announced their 2015 recipients of their Jazz Master designation, George Coleman, Carla Bley, Charles Lloyd, Joe Segal. In looking through the bio info on Mr. Coleman, I noticed the name of San Diego's own Charles McPherson as someone who had worked with George. Charles McPherson will be joining us in Hour 1 to chat about his work with our newest Jazz Master, George Coleman.
