About The Program

Join host Will Friedwald for a swinging and fun look at the amazing legacy of the major singers of jazz both past and present, as well as the songwriters, composers, arrangers, and musicians who helped to make them great. For three hours every Saturday, we’ll cover the whole history of jazz vocalists as well as taking a fun look at the deep and profound inter-relationship between jazz and the larger world of American popular music.
