Mike Rovatsos

Mike is a rock/pop musician and an award-winning radio producer and has been at the station since 2005. He is our Production Director and also manages the website and is an on-air host from time to time. He started working in radio when he was just out of high school (Long Island, NY) and after a decade of working for various major media corporations in NYC, Mike felt compelled to leave it all, head out west and do what he loves the most; working with the KSDS staff and producing jazz radio programs and spots. He loves Monk and Ella and concurs that Buddy Rich is (was) the Best Drummer in the World! Mike has recently recorded and produced his first professional LP, Chapters, available on all streaming platforms.
